General Information

FC BATE Borisov pays particular attention and makes significant investments in the development of youth football. The Club operates its own football school. FC BATE Borisov's football school was created in April 2002 and until 2008 had the name of BATE-RM. Currently, the academy has 15 coaches and over 250 students in thirteen group ages from 6 to 18.

Most of the coaches are former players of the Club - Vitali Shimko, Alexander Baranov, Yuri Darashkevich, Sergei Zenevich, Vladimir Rzhevski, Valeri Tarasenko, Pavel Beganski, Pavel Shmigero and Vitaly Rogozhkin - which plays a vital role in building the uniform game philosophy of the Club from the youngest ages to the first team. During the fourteen years of its existence the academy has brought up a lot of talented players, including players of Belarus national, Olympic and U-21 teams such as Aliaksandr Hutar, Ryhor Filipenka, Yury Astraukh, Yury Ryzhko, Mikhail Sivakou, Pavel Niakhaichyk, Oleg Patotski, Maksim Valadzko, Yauhen Yablonski.

The Club also signed an agreement with the local Borisov Football School-2 on the transfer of its best players to FC BATE Borisov's youth teams.
