Powerful forward Maksim Skavysh became the second signing of The Yellow-Blues in 2018 preseason.

Maksim's first spell for FC BATE Borisov dates back to 2007-2011 seasons. In this period he played 145 official games for the club scoring 31 goal and made 15 assists. He made a great impact on several successful years, winning four league titles (2008-2011), two Belarusian Supercups (2010, 2011) and once Belarusian Cup (2010). 2009 was his climax season when he was on shot and helped the Yellow-Blues to reach UEFA Europa League group stage with a lot of important goals.

By 2012 he lost a firm place in the starting lineup and moved on loan to FC Belshina Bobruisk. And after a year completed his permanent transfer to FC Baltika Kaliningrad where he spent the next two and a half years.

In the Middle of 2015 he returned to Belarus to sign for Torpedo-BelAZ. After a year he managed to win his first trophy away from Borisov, Belarusian Cup. In the final game Torpedo was better on penalties than FC BATE. Maks was one of Zhodino leaders scoring 7 goals in 8 Cup games and shared topscorers laurels with Mikhail Hardzeichuk.

In summer 2016 Skavysh moved abroad for the second time to Hapoel Kfar Saba. But this club was only fighting not to get relegated and the player decided to step up for a new challenge at the end of 2016.

Maks returned to Torpedo-BelAZ again and had a quality season there. In 2017 Belarusian Vysshaya Liga he scored 14 points on goal+assist system (9+5). At the end of 2017 he rejoined FC BATE.

'I had other variants, but BATE was the top priority and I am happy to be here. This is a tradition club always striving for top results. It has special atmosphere and this is the club where I became a professional. I hope we will reach for all the targets we set before the season', Maksim said immediately after signing the contract.
