Yevgeniy Loshankov was an important part of FC BATE Borisov in the first years after the club's creation. He joined the squad in 1997 season, when the Yellow Blues made their way through the second Belarusian division. And departed after 2004 season with two champion titles under his belt. In this eight years Loshankov, named Zipper after a cartoon fly hero, became the favourite of BATE supporters.

The team from Borisov became the first professional team of Yevgeniy. During the starting season Zipper played more for Smena-BATE, the Yellow-Blues' farm-club. And in 1998 season injuries prevented him to show his best. But in 1999 season Loshankov became one of the leaders of the squad that won BATE's first Belarusian title and a member of U-21 Belarusian National team.

Loshankov was noted for his amazing speed and ability to change pace and direction of movement every second. Yevgeniy was deservedly considered to be one of the fastest players of the Belarusian Vysshaya Liga. With these dribbling abilities Loshankov was extremely dangerous in the attack.

Yevgeniy won 1999 and 2002 Champions titles. But it was 2004 season that was his personal best. Zipper participated in all the matches of the Belarusian Championship, scored six goals and six assisted, which attracted foreign clubs. Loshankov moved to Ukraine to play for FC Chornomorets Odesa and FC Kharkiv.

In 2008 Yevgeniy returned to Belarus to play for FC Granit Mikashevichi, FC Torpedo-BelAZ Zhodino, FC Belshina Bobruisk and FC Slutsk.
