Aliaksandr Valadzko finished his professional football career

The decision to end his playing career was made by 34-year-old Aliaksandr Valadzko, whose name is associated with almost all the most successful pages in the history of the Yellow-Blues. He joined our team from FC Dynamo Brest in the summer of 2008, right before the decisive matches of the UEFA Champions League qualification. Exactly at that time FC BATE Borisov sensationally firstly won a ticket to the Group Stage of the most prestigious European Club Competitions. And Valadzko's assistance in the midfield to proficient Aliaksandr Yermakovich and Dzmitry Likhtarovich was very useful.

During the first period with the Borivites, Aliaksandr spent almost ten seasons for FC BATE Borisov (2008-17) and was one of the leaders. Then fate briefly tied him with FC Shakhtyor - first from Karaganda from Kazakhstan, and then from Soligorsk one. Last year Valadzko returned to the camp of the Yellow-Blues and helped the team to the best of his ability, and this January he decided to hang his boots on a nail.

Aliaksandr defended not only the club colors - he played in the U21 and ‘A' national teams of Belarus. In total, over sixteen years in professional football, he played 474 official matches (scored 26 goals), the lion's share of which falls on FC BATE Borisov. As part of the Borisovites, the midfielder has 333 matches (fourth place after Likhtarovich, Stasevich and Radzivonau), 20 goals and 31 assists. Here is a transcript of these games: the championship of Belarus - 216 matches, 15 goals + 19 assists, the Cup of Belarus - 29, 0+7, the Super Cup of Belarus - 6, 0+0, the UEFA Champions League - 57, 4+5, the UEFA Europa League - 25 , 1+0. By the way, Valadzko is the only one player who, as part of FC BATE Borisov, participated in all of its five the UEFA Champions League Group Stage. In addition, he played in three group stages of the UEFA Europa League. And at the domestic arena, together with our team, he became a ten-time champion of Belarus, a five-time holder of the domestic Super Cup and once took the Cup of Belarus.

We are grateful to Aliaksandr Valadzko for his huge contribution to the achievements of FC BATE Borisov as a player! And in conclusion, we add that he will continue to work in the coaching structure of our club - follow the news on our website!
