Mikhail Hardzeichuk returns to the Yellow-Blues

Quick-paced winger Mikhail Hardzeichuk is back to Borisov after a spell at FC Belshina Bobruisk on 31.12.2013. On that day the clubs agreed on taking the player to BATE for the second time in his career.

The first one happened in 2011, when Hardzeichuk joined BATE from FC Naftan Novopolotsk. In his very first game for the Yellow Blues Mikhail managed to score at once against Paris Saint-Germain in Last 32 of Europa League, the game at Dinamo Stadium that eventually finished in a 2-2 draw. He also contributed in the 2011 summer success when BATE made it through to the UEFA Champions League group stage.

Mikhail was born Saran (now in Kazakhstan) and started his footballing education in local children football school. In 2008 he moved to Pinsk, where he played for FC Volna in second Belarusian division for two years (2008 - 25 games, 5 goals, 2009 - 20/5). In 2010 he was spotted by FC Naftan scouts and had a magnificent season (32 games, 3 goals). After that he moved to BATE to score once in 20 matches. With the Yellow Blues he won Belarusian Supercup and Belarusian Championship in 2011.

Then a spell at FC Belshina Bobruisk followed (22/3 in 2012 and 31/9 in 2013). According to statistics 2013 season was his career best. His tally in the Vysshaya Liga is 105 games, 16 goals and 13 assists before he came to BATE for the second time.

Hardzeichuk was quite prominent at the U-21 international level, playing 18 matches for Belarus U-21. He was part of the squad that won bronze medals in Euro 2011 and qualified for 2012 London Olympics. In total he played 6 matches for Belarusian Olympic team. In 2013 he debuted in the Belarusian national team. 15 November 2013 he came on as a substitute insteady of another BATE player Vitali Radzionau after 46 minutes of play.

Speed and magnificent dribbling skills are the main strong sides of the winger, who can also play as an attacker.

'I am really happy to be back. I want to prove I can be of importance for the team and will do everything for BATE to win as much as possible', Mikhail said.
