Nemanja Tubić joins BATE

A Belgrade-born defender is an alumni of world-famous Partizan Belgrade Academy. But Tubić did not play for Partizan. Instead he joined another Belgrade side Cukaricki in 2004/05 season. That season was not a success. The team was ranked 14th of 16 and relegated into second division. Tubić served the team loyally until their return to the top Serbian flight.

At the beginning of 2008 Tubić went to Belgian side KRC Genk on loan, but did not manage to show his best there. The coach preferred to use him as a left defender which was not his speciality. The Serbian defender played just six games before returning to Cukaricki.

At the beginning of 2009 Tubić moved to Karpaty Lviv (coached at that time by a well-known Belarusian manager Oleg Kononov). Nemanja became a firm starter at once, managing to reach a tally of 50 league games and participated in UEFA Europa League Group Stage-2010/11.

Russian FC Krasnodar was his next stop. In the premiership side the Serbian defender enjoyed another good spell that stumbled just at the end when in 2014 he did not play a lot. After that Nemanja went to look for other opportunities stopping at FC BATE Borisov. "BATE are aiming at the top result, and so do I. This is why of all teams I decided to go to Belarus. This is a club ambitious as I am. I want to help the club to UEFA Champions League", said the player in his inaugural interview to
