BATE defender Artsiom Radzkou admits the team had to worry a bit in the very end of the match against FC Brest:
— It was a tough match and a tough win. In the end we conceded a goal that was unnecessary. That's why had to worry a bit in the end. Maybe in the first half we were not that sharp upfront. But we controlled the flow of the game. I believe it is a deserved win. In the end we had some problems. When you are playing with such an advantage, it is easy to lose concentration. When they scored, the forward was quick, it was a nice move. At this moment the opponents felt they could get into the game and had in fact nothing to lose. So they rushed forward, and we had to stay awake all the time. We needed the third goal, but could not get it for some time. Luckily in the very end we did it and got the three points.
I played for the first time after a pause caused by an injury, but felt well. I would like to thank the medical staff and the coaches for that. I did not notice any problems and played 90 minutes. That was important for me. The pitch was prepared really well. In this weather it is hard to do, but our groundkeepers made all the possible efforts, and it was a pleasure to play. I would like to thank them for that.
