A.Valadzko: no time for complacency

FC BATE Borisov midfielder AliaksandrValadzko on the game against FC Minsk won 1-0 away in the 1st leg of Belarusian Cup quarterfinal.

- We scored away and kept a clean sheet. From the point of view of a two-leg encounter it is a good result. Although that was not a perfect game for us. Especially in ball control. We will make correct conclusions and make amendments. We already talked in the dressing room and thought we scored too early. We exploded from the very beginning, had some good opportunities. Probably psychology is the reason. FC Minsk had to attack. And we gave away the control.

We could have scored in the second half, as well as the opponents. The most important thing is that we won in the end. But we cannot relax. We have a return leg and there should be no room for complacency. Especially because that will be the first game at Borisov-Arena. The coaching staff will tell us the strategy. We are to please the crowd and to go through to the semifinals.
