Radzivonau: we are to blame ourselves

FC BATE Borisov captain Vital Radzivonau commented on the game against FC Gomel drawn 1-1 away in MD1 of Belarusian Vysshaya Liga.

- There is nothing pleasant about the score. Especially as we were one goal up. It is always shameful to concede in dying seconds and especially from a set-piece. Which was an easy one to read. Probably we were a bit tired and lost concentration. On the whole the second half was a bad one for us. It is hard to explain reasons at once. From the start of the second half Gomel rushed forward and we were taken aback a little bit. After that we lost control over the situation. Although we had opportunities to score. I personally missed one.

And in the last 15 minutes we let the opponents too much. Sometimes this happens in football. We will do corrections. There are many games to go. We knew there will be a lot of tackles in the game. First games are like this. I think before the break we managed to do everything well. After the intermission it changed. The pitch was not ideal to control the ball, but that is not the key reason for loss of points. We are to blame ourselves that we gave the opponents to come back into the game.
