FC BATE Borisov defender Maksim Zhaunerchyk commented on the game against FC Dinamo Brest in MD3 of Belarusian Vysshaya Liga drewn 1-1 in Brest:
- Unfortunately the episode with the goal conceded started with my bad pass. There was a shot, a deflection and after that Fameye scored. It became really difficult for us as Brest went into deep defense and we had really little time to equalise. Luckily we managed to score quite quickly. When Chychkan was sent off the outcome of the game was open. Anything could have happened when an outfield player becomes a goalkeeper during the game. And the referee added five minutes. But Dzianis Paliakou was great and saved us.
I think we if we take the chances into consideration we could have got more than a point. We had opportunities before and after the break. If we had scored first, it would have been a different game. But we conceded first and had to switch on heroism.
We wanted to make up for the Cup loss. We had some kind of underdetermination. Today we were fully concentrated. And before Fameye scored we did not allow them anything at our goal.
