Pavel Niakhaichyk is back in BATE

BATE made another great signing to reinforce the team for the next season. Belarusian international Pavel Niakhaychik signed for two years with BATE. The midfielder is known for his outstanding running, passing and scoring abilities.

Niakhaichyk was raised in the BATE Academy before signing his first professional contract with the Yellow Blues in 2007. He became a hero of BATE supporters after scoring an amazing winner in Brussels in the match against RSC Anderlecht in 2008/09 Europa League 2nd round qualifying match.

His total record in the Belarusian League equals 100 matches (18 goals). And all in all Niakhaichyk played 164 matches for BATE and scored 34 goals. Together with BATE he won the national championship four times, won National Cup in 2010 and National Supercup in 2010 and 2011.

After that Niakhaichyk left for Dinamo Moscow of the Russian Premier League in the summer of 2011, he played 17 official matches and scored 1 goal.

After the signing Pavel commented on it for

— I am really happy to be back home. I followed the team during my time in Moscow and saw how the club progressed during the year. Now I am determined to do all the best for BATE, which is not just a club for me, it is something more. I had a good rest and now looking forward to work with the guys towards the new season and UEFA Europa League games against Fenerbahce. I gained a lot of experience in Russia and now want to use it during my second spell in BATE.
