The Yellow-Blues beat FC Granit Mikashevichi 1-0 away to seal their 13th Belarusian title in the birthplace of their Head Coach Aliaksandr Yermakovich. The late decider came from substitute Mikalai Sihnevich. Forward's golden touch was the cherry on the top of good combination starring Valeriane Gvilia and Maksim Valadzko, who recorded an assist with a convenient cross.

The game was not easy for the Yellow-Blues with a lot of resistance from Granit. Mikashevichi side were really keen on ounterattacks hitting the bar in the first half and missing a couple of other good opportunities. But still it were the away team who had the best chance to break the deadlock. Artur Pikk was fouled against in the penalty box and Mikhail Hardzeichuk failed to convert the penalty sending the ball into the crossbar.

In the second half the Yellow-Blues still had the control of the game, but allowed a couple of good opportunities for Granit. Sergey Veremko saved in some and finishing was not perfect in others. And BATE managed to score an important goal late in the match to grab their 13th overall title and 11th title in a row, which is a national record.

Aliaksandr YERMAKOVICH (FC BATE Borisov Head Coach):
- Recent games were much easier than this one. There are several reasons for that. The game was tense until the very last minutes. We are happy that we won in such a difficult situation. I think we deserved the win. Until the very end of the match we tried to score and win. The winning goal was the reward for our determination. I am happy this happened at my motherland! I would like to congratulate everyone who supports our team, my parents, a lot of my friends. Thank you for your support. We are an experienced team, but if you compare our today's squad with the starting eleven that we had last year in Vitebsk when we claimed the title, there have been just two players from that line up today.
