FC Dinamo finished as runners-up and were third with Drahun in squad, while the player himself was three times included into the list 22 of best Belarusian players, and in 2012 he was named best midfielder of the Vysshaya Liga. His record during this spell in Belarusian Championship included 206 games, 31 goals and 16 assists.

He was also part of the Belarusian U-21 national team where he scored 5 goals in 25 games in 2008-11. 2011 was the climax when Belarusians managed to win bronze of EURO'2011 and make it to London 2012 Olympics. Drahun played there as well and acted as captain.

After his debut for the national team he played 42 games (5 goals and 3 assists) before moving to FC BATE Borisov.

"That was not an easy decision for me and took some time to take. But the negotiations with FC BATE chairman of the board Anatoli Kapski went really quickly. Now I cannot wait to join the team in training and start working. My ambition is to reach for the UEFA Champions League, which was an important incentive to sign for FC BATE. Hopefully we will reach all the goals set for the team.
