  • Vladislav Mirchev spent less than half a year at BATE. Bulgarian U-21 striker came to the club on loan from Spartak Varna at the end of August 2008. And in December of the same year he moved to Italian Ancona.

In spite of a short-term spell in the club, Mirchev participated in several important occasions in BATE history. The Bulgarian started in the legendary first ever Group Stage game of the Yellow-Blues at Santiago Bernabeu against Real Madrid CF (0-2) and played three minutes in the home game against FC Juventus (2-2). In that UEFA Champions league edition he was one of just two Bulgarian players with Dimitar Berbarov being the second.

Besides that the forward scored a hat-trick in the Belarusian Cup match against FC Neman Mosty (7-3) and the decisive penalty in the cup encounter against FC Minsk. At home BATE put a half-reserve line-up to save players for the UEFA Champions league and lost to the second division side (1-4). But in the return leg away BATE managed to win 4-1. Penalties were needed to decide the winner. And Mirchev used his attempt confidently to get BATE a ticket to the quarterfinals.

After the Yellow-Blues Mirchev played for Italian Ancona, Belgian Oostende, Bulgarian Spartak Varna, Bulgarian Bdin, Irtysh Pavlodar from Kazakhstan and Lokomotiv Plovdiv.
