  • Zakhar started his career in 2014 in Vitebsk-2 from third division, FC Vitebsk farm club. He also managed to play some official games for the first squad. After Vitebsk got promoted to the top flight, he mostly appeared for FC Vitebsk reserves. In 2016 he was loaned to FC Orsha which played in the second division, where he became a prominent figure in the lineup. In 2017 another loan followed, this time to Vysshaya Liga side FC Naftan. There he again became a first choice defender and even scored at Borisov-Arena by converting a penalty kick to give the Northerners a point. He scored an impressive for a central defender goal tally of four (three from penalties) that season. And that was enough for FC BATE to sign a talented youngster aged just 20 years.

    "I have fantastic emotions. I am happy to join the best club of the country with a lot of ambitions and amazing fans and stadium. This is a huge step forward in my career. I always watched FC BATE games in Europe on TV, and even went to see the game vs Crvena Zvezda. The atmosphere was fantastic and I am looking forward to feel it at every home game", he said immediately after signing.
