Tartu-born defender Artur Pikk transferred to the Yellow-Blues from FC Levadia Tallinn to reinforce BATE rearguard.

Estonian international joined the Borisovites during the first 2016 Training Camp on trial in Turkey and made an instant impression. As a result a contract was signed on 23rd of February to seal the deal.

The player was raised at Merkuur-Junior school from Tartu. Having played for various youth teams, Pikk signed for Meistriliiga club Levadia in 2010 and subsequently joined Tammeka on a year and a half long loan spell. He made 39 appearances and scored 1 goal for Tammeka before returning to Levadia. Pikk made his debut for Levadia in 2012. He won his first Meistriliiga title with Levadia in 2013 and second one in 2014.

He won caps at all Estonian youth teams beginning from U-17. Pikk represented Estonia in the 2012 UEFA European Under-19 Championship. He made his international debut for the senior national team on 7 June 2014 against Tajikistan. He made his first start for Estonia on 12 October 2014 in a UEFA Euro 2016 qualifying match against England in an eventual 0-1 loss while serving as a conscript in the Estonian Defence Forces. He scored his first goal on 11 November 2015 in a friendly against Georgia.

"I am happy that I am now a BATE player. For me it is a huge step forward in the career. This is great to join a club that always strives for top achievements in domestic competitions and can boast some amazing European experience. The guys are really great to me and I did not have any troubles joining the squad. Coaches, players, medical staff are all very friendly. I will do my best to help the team throughout the whole contract. Hopefully we will play some beautiful football that will attract a lot of spectators to magnificent Borisov-Arena", said Pikk after signing.
