Today in Minsk the youth (U-19) representative team of Belarus, staffed by players born in 2003, has started the final stage of preparation for Qualifiers to the European Championship. Head coach Andrei Skarabahatska summoned five FC BATE Borisov footballers to the training camp - Andrei Kudravets, Kiryl Abaturau, Ryhor Osipau, Anton Tarusau and Artsiom Shumanski.
From 6th to 12th October, the Belarusians will have a Group Stage in Gyor, Hungary. In addition to the hosts, Austrians and Estonians will be their rivals there. The top two teams of the quartet (as well as the best squad from the third place among the groups) win tickets to the final round of selection, the matches of which take place in March 2022. The final part of the youth European Championship will be held in 2022 in Slovakia - with the participation of the 8 best representative teams of the continent.
