Today at the Municipal Stadium Mezokovesd in Hungary in the 2nd leg of the 2nd qualifying round of the Champions League FC BATE lost to the Cypriot FC Aris with a score of 3:5 (the first match – 2:6) and ended the performance in the UEFA Champions League qualification. 

Now FC BATE will continue its performance on the international arena in the second European Cup tournament – in the UEFA Europa League. There in the 3rd qualifying round the Yellow-Blues will face off against the defeater of the pair FC Sheriff Tiraspol (Moldova) – FC Maccabi Haifa (Israel). The first match of these rivals brought victory to Tiraspol – 1:0. The return game will take place on Wednesday, August 2th, in Haifa.
