The contract with FC BATE was signed by 34-year-old goalkeeper Aliaksandr Hutar, who returned to the camp of the Yellow-Blues almost eleven years later.
Hutar joined FC BATE Borisov in 2006 and at first played in the reserve team, and in 2008 he became a replacement for Siarhei Veremko at the base. However, at first he was only formally considered the "the second number". Everything turned upside down at the end of August 2008, when our team made it to the 3rd round of the UEFA Champions League and was in a desperate dispute with the Bulgarian FC Levski for a ticket to the group. In Sofia, the Yellow-Blues won in a tough fight (1:0), but before the second leg they lost their main goalkeeper: Veremko earned a second yellow card in the European campaign, which put an end to his participation in the fateful match in Borisov.
The most frequent question that FC BATE employees had to hear in mid-August 2008 was: "Who is Hutar?" By that time, Aliaksandr did not have a single match in the major leagues! Fortunately, before the return confrontation with the Bulgarians, they had to play with FC Neman and FC Granit. In these meetings, the 19-year-old guy received a baptism of fire. And on August 27, BATE, with Hutar confidently playing at the gate, tied with FC Levski (1:1) and created a sensation: for the first time in history, a Belarusian club entered the UEFA Champions League group!
Aliaksandr spent five seasons in the FC BATE main team (2008-12), winning five league titles (2008-12), the National Cup (2010) and two Super Cups (2010, 2011) with the team. In 2011, Hutar was named the best football player in Belarus. With his participation, the Yellow-Blues played three times in the UEFA Champions League group stage (2008, 2011, 2012) and twice in the UEFA Europa League (2009, 2010). While playing for FC BATE, Hutar was consistently called up to the youth, Olympic and national teams of Belarus, became the bronze medalist of the European Youth Championship, and then a participant in the 2012 Olympics.
At the turn of 2012-13, a dramatic parting of Hutar with FC BATE happened. He became a football player of the capital's Dinamo and helped the Minskers get into the UEFA Europa League group stage twice (2014, 2015). Then, in Aliaksndar's career, there was a short legionary absence, during which he changed three clubs in a year and a half - the Russian FC Orenburg, FC Tosno and the Ukrainian FC Chernomorets. And then there was a return to his homeland - to Brest, where he won gold, the Cup and the Super Cup of Belarus with the local FC Dynamo.
In 2020, the goalkeeper moved to FC Shakhtyor Soligorsk, where he added two league titles to his collection of trophies (by the way, this is the only footballer who became the champion of Belarus in the composition of three clubs). After a career phase at FC Shakhtyor, Hutar had a one-year downtime, and then a short trip to Kazakhstan's FC Aksu. And now the goalkeeper is back at FC BATE.
