The FC BATE coaching staff was replenished by Uladzimir Niavinski, one of the key players of our team at the turn of the ХХ and ХХI centuries.

Niavinski came to FC BATE in the fall of 1997, when the team was rushing at full speed to the major leagues. By the way, he is the author of the first goal of the Borisov team in the elite division – on April 12, 1998 in Molodechno, against the club of the same name. Moreover, Uladzimir became the first Yellow-Blues player to score an assist hat-trick – on June 18th, 1998 in a home match with FC Dynamo Brest.

In those days, at FC BATE, Niavinski became champion (1999, 2002) and silver medalist (1998, 2000) of the national championships twice, and once won bronze (2001). In total, he played 144 official matches for our club, scored 18 goals and gave 19 assists.

Niavinski worked in the coaching structure of FC BATE for nine years (2009-17). At first he worked in backup personnel, then in training groups, and in 2014-17 – in the headquarters of Aliaksandr Ermakovich. Together with the team, he participated twice in the group tournaments of the UEFA Champions League and once in the UEFA Europa League, helping Ermakovich prepare the team for battles with FC Barcelona, FC Roma, FC Bayer, FC Cologne, FC Athletic Bilbao, and FC Arsenal London.
