At the 49th year of life, the heart of Aliaksandr Fedarovich stopped beating. The legend of FC BATE Borisov, his first match for the Yellow-Blues as goalkeeper he played on 19th May 1996. Together with our team, he has come a long way from the third division to the elite of Belarusian football. Exactly with Fedarovich that FC BATE Borisov, step by step, sought recognition on the domestic, and then on the international arena.
As a goalkeeper, Aliaksandr Fedarovich spent 12 seasons for the Yellow-Blues (1996-2007). Played 262 official matches and kept a ‘clean sheet' for 118 times. Together with FC BATE Borisov he became four times the Champion of Belarus (1999, 2002, 2006, 2007), the holder of the Cup of Belarus (2006), four times the silver (1998, 2000, 2003, 2004) and once the bronze (2001) medalist of the domestic championship.
After completing his playing career, he joined the coaching staff of Viktar Hancharenka (2008) and since then has continuously worked in the structure of our club (2008-16 in the first team, 2017-21 at the reserve squad). As a coach of goalkeepers of the first team, he became the Champion of Belarus 8 times (2008-13, 2015, 2016), twice the winner of the Cup of Belarus (2010, 2015), five times the holder of the Super Cup of Belarus (2010, 2011, 2013, 2015, 2016). As an assistant to Hancharenko, and then to Aliaksandr Yermakovich, Fedarovich 5 times was a participant of the UEFA Champions League Group Stage, twice the UEFA Europa League Group Stage. His charges - Siarhei Veremko, Aliaksandr Hutar, Andrei Harbunou, Siarhei Chernik - acted as a reliable barrier at the last defense line of our team.
