The Russian FC Khimki has loaned the Yellow-Blues' defender Zakhar Volkau until 30th June 2022 (with right of a subsequent definitive transfer).

Appearing at FC BATE Borisov in December 2017, he almost immediately won a place in the center of defense. Together with our team, he became the Champion (2018) and holder of the Cup of Belarus (2020), a three-time silver medalist of the domestic championship (2019-21). According to results of the season-2019 in the Vysheyshaya Liga competition, he was included in the list of "22 best football players of the championship".

The name of Zakhar is associated with the successful European Club Competitions campaign 2018/19, at the end of which FC BATE Borisov, with his direct help within the UEFA Europa League Round of 32, achieved a historic victory over Arsenal FC from London (1:0) at the Borisov-Arena. And Volkau's benefit performance was at the Cup of Belarus 2020 Final against FC Dynamo Brest, when, on the last minute of extra time, he turned out to be the most efficient in the rivals' penalty area and brought an honorary trophy to the Borisov team. For all the years in FC BATE Borisov (2018-21), the defender has 84 official matches (58 wins), 5 goals and 5 assists.
