The draw for the domestic championship-2022 of the Vysheyshaya Liga has taken place. The tournament, in which 16 teams participate, will be held according to the classic two-circle round system.

FC BATE Borisov was represented at the ceremony by General Secretary Kiryl Maleyeu.

The draw procedure was made in several stages. On the first of them serial numbers for medalists of the past season were fixed. This was done in order that FC Shakhtyor Soligorsk, FC BATE Borisov and FC Dinamo Minsk would not meet each other during the summer - at the time of the European Club Competitions qualifying rounds, where they will participate. As a result, the Yellow-Blues got the number 10.

Then serial numbers were assigned to two clubs from Brest - FC Dynamo and FC Rukh. In order to separate their home matches by matchdays: as before, both teams host rivals in the city over the Bug at the OSK Brestski stadium.

Finally, the third stage included the actual draw of the Vysheyshaya Liga tournament. As a consequence, FC BATE Borisov starts it with an away encounter against FC Slaviya Mozyr. We would like to recall that the matches of the MD1 are scheduled for 18th-20th March.

And in the MD2, our team will have a home match against FC Belshina Bobruisk, which to be played on 1st-3rd April.
