National A-team of Belarus lost to Slovakia at the opening match of the UEFA Nations League

Today in the Serbian Novi Sad at the Karadjordje stadium the national A-team of Belarus started in the UEFA League of Nations with a duel against Slovakia and lost to the favorite of their group – 0:1 (61).

Three FC BATE Borisov players took part in the match. Defensive midfielder Valery Bacharou came out in the starting lineup and was substituted on the 82nd minute. Attacking midfielders Dzmitry Bessmertny and Uladzislau Malkevich appeared on the pitch on the 71st and 72nd minutes, respectively. Their teammate Valery Hramyka and defender Danila Nechayeu, as well as Zakhar Volkau, who was loaned from the Yellow-Blues by Russian FC Khimki, were left on the substitute’s bench.
